Register here to join the National Women's Law Center on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET for a webinar about “Rethinking Workforce Training for Low-Income Moms.” Single moms work, but gender inequity and the lack of affordable child care leave them unable to work their way into economic security. This webinar will provide a brief overview of what we know about child care supports for parents needing education and training, and discuss a new job training model that couples access to child care with workforce training in higher-paying but traditionally male-dominated jobs like construction.
